where is all the reverb coming from? is that off the camera mic, in addition to the mic on the amp? very nice playing.

I mean the bassman is a great amp, capable of some very nice clean tones but there certainly seems to be reverb of some kind. Don't know if it's a plugin or just having the amp mic'd as well as having the camera mic active to get the room sound or something else. It is very nice playing and a sweet tone whatever it is.

If you want a nice small pedal reverb, the 'Wet' reverb is a killer.
No bass loss treble loss or volume loss.
Really a great pedal.
I now shut my amp reverb off 'cause of the noise and use the 'Wet' pedal.

Yeah. See my youtube links in my sig... not that "exact" tone, but that's the basic fundamental tone of the Strat into a Bassman set clean. Sooner or later I'll throw up some better clips of that amp. I really love it; have for a long time.

My Hermida Reverb plugged straight into the front of my Bassman, set at about 10:00 sounds very similar to that... IMO, the lack of reverb is this amp's biggest downfall... I read/heard that it sounds so nice you don't miss the reverb, but i did. The Hermida fixed that in a jiffy, for under 100 bucks. IMO they should include one for free with every Bassman purchase.

My old Kendrick 2410 has a built-in reverb unit, and can get quite close to that.

The guy in the video has excellent fingers, though...

I think it's more of a very minimal Delay setting, not reverb. On a couple of the licks (when he stop very quickly and paused) you could hear just a touch of the repeat. Very Reverb-Like and IMO a nicer sound than 'verb. More like a normal room echo in a great studio. If you set up a delay pedal for about 100-120 milliseconds in front of the amp, it will sound like that.

Just use a delay or reverb pedal. I use echo myself. I like the DD-7 or DD-6.

Yep - sounds just like a tele on the bright channel with a bit of delay - as per Geno's comment. I use an old lex lxp-1 for reverb, but getting close to that tone shouldn't be a problem on the RI ltd.
