1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

    Album Notes

"The Time is Magic", is the 2nd full length album from Bats Brew.

This album rocks hard, but has some twists and turns that gives a nod to progressive rock.
Add in some real solid swinging grooves, acoustic guitars and 3 part harmony, and it ends up being all over the map.
It's one of those types of albums that are designed for you to listen from beginning to end.
It takes you on a mental trip, and it really flows.

The idea of Time being Magic, is really key here.... so much of the lyric content delves into moments of time that have a special meaning, sometimes sad, sometimes wonderful.

Neat stuff - Twilight Rain is particularly good to my hears.
You have a CSN meets 1970s Yes vibe to the vocals. The
other two are rockers to be sure - but Twilight seems like
your ticket - what you bond with most. A kind of progressive
Jazz Rock. The Vocals are very nicely arranged - and the acoustics
    sound fabulous.

    HI PAPANATE!

thanks so much for checking this effort out,
    and writing about it!

i know i'd have to list csny as an early influence,
and still crank up their tunes to this day!
