I'm gonna need to replace some dreadfull 500T and 490 in a lp classic premium pluss. I've narrowed my search to Rio Grande BBQ or WCR Fillmores with whatever jim recomends for the neck darkburst probably. I'm taking recomendations.

Waaaay different vibes. BBQs are much more modern and the metal crowd may like 'em, but I hated them. Not much personality but plenty of output. Fillmores while also high-ish in output still retain more dynamics, with a vintage LP-like tonality. I believe they were named after the famed Allman Bros. sound from their monumental live Fillmore recording. Jim is very good in his recommendations, and it'd be hard to go wrong with his products.

WCR in most of my electrics. Of the rest, one has P90's which Wags doesn't make, the other a vintage (late 30's) Supro.

DB neck/GW+ bridge in the LP...closest to the Duane sound I can get, in 40 years of searching.
