There were rumors that the Beasties shot a video for "Too Many Rappers," (with Nas), before MCA died.

Some guy over on the Beastie Boys forum did a little detective work and found it. The leak has been yanked, but the video was officially released.

Here's the thread of the guy who found it, which is cool for the backstory.

And here's the video, which is mostly just great because it's nice to see MCA kickin' it one last time:

Even a geezer gittar forum has got to have a few Beastie fans, right? :dunno

Thanks. I still remember being so shocked when MCA died. I graduated high school in '88, so they were definitely part of the soundtrack of my life. I have all of their albums.

I love the BB's, especially from a production standpoint - their mastery of FX usage is second to none.

Apart from my having graduated in '89, this is my experience, too. Hell, I'm still kind of shocked and saddened when reminded that Adam Yauch has passed away.

It was cool to get to see a few more minutes of him as a vital performer working with some of the people he loved most in the world.

I'm an '89 grad myself, and am thankful to you for sharing this. Never got the chance to see them live. Shame.
