1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

    I have some Benson vid I need to post that makes this look like kids play.....

    You can hear a lot of George's influence in Andreas.

    Thanks for posting! I really dug it!

    Scott ;
    now that you mentioned it : i heard a Benson take on Oleo once where he pulled all the stops, just incredible speed and finesse ... it's funny but with guitar the speed thing is just so fascinating ! listening to guys like Dizzy, Oscar Peterson or Stan Getz ( Live at Storyville !!!!! ) really tearing it up is rather .... uhhm ... normal :RoCkIn

    My guitar teacher used to be good friends with Benson so I will ask him personally how quick he could go. And on the subject I have heard of this guy before and he is awesome, he is the django thing down as well. Amazing!

    I'm working on it.... I have a few. I have Take 5 live in the 70s when GB was his peak. It is JAWDROPPING. Sickest chops I ever heard.

    Very well. I have a bunch of CDs and a live vid with Richie Cole. Great player with superb chops as well. Sings every phrase.... You see his lips moving!
