Looking at one of the lower wattage not too expensive options. I don't think I'll get back in the boutique market again. One question I had was what is the difference between the new vox AC15C1 and the Custom Classic AC15?

Anyway, just looking at one of these for "messing around" with. Any pros/cons or other suggestions?

    Marshall Class 5 $400
    Fender Super Champ XD $300
    AC15C1 $600
    Vox AC4TV $250

I don't have any op's on the amps mentioned, but you better stay away from TGP, cause it's gonna cost you! Anyway I'm using low powered Dr. Z amps (Monza & Carmen Ghia), now days to get my sounds.

I never see these mentioned on here, but I loved my Laney LC15r. Great tone.

THe XD blow the competition away by a mile. Do a search on the SCXD. Its a multi-trick pony.

Don't forget the AC15VR, which is cheaper and lighter but sounds 95% of the way there. And has a cool higher gain channel.
