I'm looking for a low watt 6v6 warm head to run into my tone tubby 2x10 cab. I've used the egnater rebel 30 and love the sound but its overkill for my needs, I only need one channel all effects will be driven by pedals. Will be used mainly for small demo events, in shop demos etc.. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

The JCA GR 1.6. Don't think they're being made any more though.

Try Swart. Any good Tweed should do.

1949 monoblock sans preamp, plug the pedals right into the PI....its silly good. But I don't think they're being made any more.

Egnater tweaker 15 and ibanez ta15. Really loved the the ta15 with new tubes and vansamp in the loop. Great clean headroom / bedroom amp. Loves pedals. Small and inexpensive. Kinda want to pick both up again.

Traynor Dark Horse - I run mine almost exclusively in the USA tone setting - it eats pedals alive (but sounds good without them.)

Another bonus is that you have the low power option which runs a 12AU7 tube as a small power tube in push pull - it really sounds good.

The amp is built like a little tank and it's built in Canada. Highly recommended - I've had mine for a few years now.

I am much impressed with the Valvetech VAC22. Quite effective at lower volume applications, due to an excellent master volume. Two channel, with foot boostable channel two (in which channel one volume doubles as the gain knob), but you don't have to use it this way. I jumper channels, use both with no boost. I have not cranked it, but my sense is that this will be a rather loud 22 watts. Excellent sound, well voiced tone controls, treble and presence knobs especially.

I concur I've had the Traynor DH15 for two years and it has been rock solid, IMO the only slight flaw is its voiced a bit on the high treble side. I had it paired with the DH cabinet and a speaker change to low watt webbers in a 2x12 open/closed (right speaker closed) cabinet thickened the tone and as voodoo stated it eats pedals of any make or model. Big +1

Bogner Mojado can be found used, cheap.
Also has a power amp in jack, which can come in handy.
Cool little amp.

The Ibanez TSA15H will fit your spec. Great w/ pedals, including the onboard TS808. Very reasonably priced.
