Best A/B switch?

    The title says it, im lookin for the cleanest and most transparent A/B switch..
    what are your nominees?

    The Framptone switcher works for me. Definitely not cheap, but my days of tone-sucking Marley switches or jumpering amps together are over.

    If you're looking for an A/B, you can get a great-quality one with no signal bleed or other maladies like that from several people. PacifiCustom Pedals (me), Loooper, Loop-Master, etc.

    If it's an A/B/Y that you need, you might be better off with the Framptone or Lehle though.

    Mine has issues with ground loops. :mad:

    IMO, they're great for bypass loops but definitely wouldn't get a nomination for being "best" in an A/B application.

    Best is always a controversial term. I can say that I am totally pleased with my Lehle and the build quality is tops.

    The country I come from is called the Midwest.
    Don't know about "best" but my Startouch A/B/Y does exactly what it's supposed to do without a problem.

    I like my Lehle. It is a/b/c only one at a time pedal. They call it a 1@3

    Huge +1 on the Startouch stuff - nuke proof build quality and no noise issues IME...

    The Framptone is very good. It was my top choice, but was just too pricey for me so a nice "second place" a/b was the Roger Mayer Crossroads. No issues whatsoever. Very transparent and well made. Effectively removes ground loops (which is a really good thing!).

    I've had Framptone, Mayer, Morley, Loooper and Radial, and the best to me is the Lehle Dual or the 3/1. I have both and they are incredible.

    It depends what you A/B, if it's not amps,Startouch, Loooper and LoopMaster all make great units. But if it's amplifiers a LEHLE or Mayer Crossroads or even a LOBO work well and eliminate Ground Faults that cause hum.

    +1 on the Radial Big Shot; I use a two amp setup and had battled ground loops until I got this thing. Right out of the box I hooked it up and had no pops, hum or bleed thru; I did not even have to use the ground lift switch. Even sounded good with both amps on. for $60, I am very happy.

    Generally, I'm about 2.5 weeks out from date of payment (give or take).
