Looking for a cheap decent acoustic guitar just to have one. I mainly play electric. Want something to just pick up and jam on and play outside for fun, etc. I was considering a 3/4 scale so it's even more portable and easy to just pick up and play. Not interested in anything where I'm gonna have to be worried about the moisture content of my room or anything. Just want a decent playing beater. Any recommendations? Thanks.

Just buy a used Cort - even the budget models have a solid top AFAIK. Well constructed and very consistent in my experience - I have three.

If you want a cheap, tough as nails, knock around guitar with a shorter scale length and smaller body, it will be hard to beat this gretsch. Should be able to find them around 150 bucks, 24 inch scale, decent sound, laminate construction, I think they look cool to boot.
