Is the Super Champ the amp, for that classic Fender clean tones, you can have when playing at bedroom levels?

The Zvex is even quieter yet full-bodied with a fruity aftertaste .

Assuming you mean the Super Champ XD, I say no, not really. I have one, and like it a lot, but the clean tone tends to be a bit thin at low volume, and very compressed at high volume. If you want really good lower volume clean tones, get a Princeton.....

I agree. If you want to go with Fender, get a Princeton Reverb. Great clean tone at low volume. I have a SF PR and a BF VibroChamp and the VC is a nice little amp but the difference between the 8" and 10" speakers and the PR's bigger cab size makes a huge difference. The PR clean tone is simply outstanding. A VC into a larger cab is quite good as well.
