Looking to replace my DLA. Would be nice to have modulation and tap tempo like the DLA, so why did I sell it you ask? You know how it goes.

So what are some suggestions? Thanks

Haven't tried one in person yet, but the obvious answer seems to be DD20.

I have 4 pedalboards and have the Visual Sound delay on all of them.
    Worth checking out.

DD-20 is decent. What about the EHX Deluxe Memory Boy? It's about $200 new, and is really an underrated delay. Analog, but a fairly long delay time, the modulation on it is great, or it can do some very wild stuff too, your choice. Every parameter can be controlled by an expression pedal too. Tap tempo, subdivisions, easy to power...

Yup. Another vote for the DMB. Totally underrated.

My vote would go to a Flashback x4 or Alter ego X4 used. Can find them for $200.

A great deal of options for the price.

This is what I would recommend. I'm almost thinking about going back to this even after having a timefactor and a timeline. So easy to program and sounds great.

    Deluxe Memory boy sucks imho:
    - short delay time
    - not very usable modulation
    - colours your dry tone

Not worth it for the price.

Yeah, I'll jump on and say Diamond Memory Lane Jr if you can find one used.

    Yep,
I bought a used Memory Lane Jr.
Just got it in the mail an hour ago.
Works great in both my Mesa efx loop or through the front of my amp.
This is the video that sold me.

The TC Electronic Nova Repeater is underrated. It is really versatile and you can find them used for a great price.
