I'm looking for the ultimate dumble style pedal for a strat and a 64 vibroverb custom, that i run just after break up... from what i gather the GSR is probably the most likely contender with the zen and howie also in contention...

I'm really looking for RF's "the brother" tone...

    any suggestions are greatly appreciated...

    thanks

    L.

I have played them all (except the newest howie) and the Ethos is by far the best - and I have a Glaswerks sitting right here to compare.

No particular order -- all great pedals. they will all get you to that dumble space you are looking for. I own them all except the Ethos which I sold a few weeks ago.

I also owned the GSR -- purchased it 2x and sold it 2x. Some people on this forum absolutely dig the pedal -- I just could not bond with it --- so I left it off my recommended list.
