Which of the modern reissues do you think came close the originals?

    Fender, Vox, Marshall etc..

My personal fave are the Fender PRRI, and Vox AC30 reincarnations.

Not sure if it's a direct RI? But the HW AC30 is brilliant.

The Fender DRRI and the Vox HW are at the top of my list. :D

I had one of the '59 Bassman LTD's, it was good but I don't know how close it was to the original? Never had a chance to play the original. But the amp was good on it's own merit. :)

'63 Vibroverb Reissue. My desert island amp. Of course, I have never played through an original, so I don't honestly know how far off they are... But, it was the tone I'd Ben looking for, for a loooong time.

:agree Except the stock speakers are terrible and it sounds so much better when they are replaced.

I have a Mesa Boogie S.O.B. on its way so I'm hoping that it'll be a awesome reissue! I'll know for sure later next week! I know that it's not a exact copy, but from what I've read it'll be close enough for rock and roll!
