I'm looking to add a fuzz to my pedalboard. It's not something I'll use often, so I don't want to spend a ton of cash. Any suggestions for a cool one under $100? Anyone try the Tweakfuzz? Or BYOC Fuzz Face? Also considering a Monsterpiece.

I've only played the Big Tone stuff. But,everything I've played of his was musical & well built.
I would go with the BYOC if I were looking in that budget.
If you could go $160 you could get a prebuilt with a FF/TONEBENDER switch that would give you an chance to see what style fuzz suits you.

Get a Fabfuzz from www.awendamusic.com. For under $50, this thing sounds great - very usable and lots of sounds to be had. I push it with a ZVEX SHO to brighten it up. Highly recommended.

There's the omega fuzz at tonefactor. I been thinking of pulling the trigger on one for a while now...

In march (supposedly) the EH Little big Muff is to be released. This one will have all the knobs (Volume Tone Sustain) unlike the LBM of old that had one knob. List is around $70 if I remember.

Just by listening to some sound clips of some of the ones you've suggested, my favorites so far are the McFuzz and the Crucible Fuzz. Right now, I'm leaning toward the McFuzz. Keep those suggestions coming, though. Sound clips can be very deceiving.
