Heading into what seems like deliverance country for a gig tonight - not happy, especially night before Easter.
I'm only bringing one guitar which would normally be my Tele (~7lbs).
I haven't gigged an LP in a while, considering the sub-10lb monster but it might be a bit much... thoughts?

    LP makes a better weapon.
Flying V has a wider sweep (personal experience)

I'd want something like an EGC...it's all metal so you aren't going to break it, and it can do some damage.

However, this is TGP, so a Tele is going to be the popular opinion.

Too bad you don't have a Peavey T-60. Makes a great weapon, stops bullets, goes with the general vibe.

I'd personally use the lightest band member as a weapon. Bonus points if you don't like them very much.

Pete Townshend kicked Abbie Hoffman off the stage with his SG at Woodstock....

    But, yeah, a Tele.

    An LP is a no-go.

Headstock snaps right off leaving you holding a mess of tuning pegs and hanging strings.

Tele. Mine got me out of a bad situation like that once. It was still in tune when I got home too.

One of my first guitars. Not only is it heavy, it will stop a bullet.
