Hey Guys, I'm going to be in LA for the next couple days and am thinking about picking up a new guit. I'd like to go to a few places with a good selection of vintage stuff at reasonable prices. I'm looking for an older Tele Deluxe, a good J45 or SJ, and who knows what else. Where should I be looking?? Thanks!!

    - california vintage guitar and amp in sherman oaks
    - the amp shop in sherman oaks (a small selection)
    - voltage guitars in toluca lake
    - go go guitars (long beach not la) - not sure if how big their vintage guitar selection is but lots of cool boutique stuff and vintage amps

oh yeah, also future music in eagle rock for really off-the-beaten-path vintage gear. they have some really obscure vintage japanese stuff for pretty cheap.

Mesa Boogie Hollywood has a nice selection of higher
end guitars, including Grosh, Hamer USA, Anderson,
    Nash, and more.

Is that the same Future Music that used to be on Sunset near GC? I thought they just closed; I didn't realize they moved...

yeah, cool place. seems they're more concerned with getting cool pieces in players' hands than collectors'.

thanks for the help guys. i hit most of the ones on this list. i ended up finding a fantastic old j45 at westwood music. fred walecki was one of the kindest most helpful human beings i've ever been around. i can't recommend this place more... it was the best experience i've had guitar shopping. thanks!!!
