best huge ambient reverb toneprint

just picked up a HOF mini and my main goal with it is to get a huge cavernous reverb thats almost synthy for use with volume swells...kind of like the particle verb effect on the line6 m-series...anyone who has one of these know of a good toneprint that will do that....OR know how to tweak my own to get there? thanks!

i guess by synthy i mean....the particle verb seemed to have some crazy feedback and modulation in it to where if you faded in to it after the strum, it sounded like a synth pad.

Not sure I'm quite picturing what you want, but try the Sigur Ros Reverb by Jonsi and then let us know what you would want different.

Can't speak to the tone prints, only ones I really liked were E1 and E2, and I think that's just on the Trinity.

But you might want to think about getting an ADDITIONAL reverb to stack with it. TC doesn't really do "ambient" by itself that well.

The Supernatural replaced my Trinity, and I use a Neunaber in addition for the really deep stuff. Either one imo would go great with the HoF.

Sorry for giving such a TGP answer, but in my experience the HoF won't do what your expecting of it by itself.

But the HOF cant do anything like Particle. If you want Particle, get a Zoom ms70CDR, as they have a Particle clone on there that rules.

I dug the 'Church of Andy' toneprint as my go-to modulated reverb when I had my HOF.

I don't know why they haven't done a larger form-factor reverb unit yet. There are several good sounds to be had in a HOF, I just like having them already dialed in/preset.

You may want to look into the T2 Reverb pedal from TC. It's got a hold load of ambient reverbs. I have one and its tons of fun. Has flanged verb, vibrato verb, pitch shift verb, etc.
