Best Little Buffer (input)

Hey y’all

I am looking for the best little input buffer to stowaway under my pedalboard.

What is the best sounding one and how much should I spend / is it worth spending more money on the expensive options?

Or maybe I just buy a good tuner with a good buffer in it, as I am currently swapping my only tuner out from full size board to mini board please recommend.

(This is for my mini board. Full size board has a Tumnus for a buffer.)

As in…. Is a stand alone buffer better than the ones included in tuners like Polytune 3, etc

So I did sone checking last night and I def need a buffer.

The buffer in my Wampler Tumnus sounds really good. Will a D’Addario Tuner Plus Buffer sound just as good or…?

Polytune 3 buffer dulls the sound and isn't very clear to me. I use a This1smyne buffer. If you can find a used TRex Tunemaster, they have incredibly good buffers, but aren't as accurate as an ST-300 Turbo Tuner. I might soon cave in and try the Strobostomp HD.

Tried a few different buffers. The Suhr Buffer sounded best to me. I think running it at 18v helps. It also has the benefit of a second out.

I take it that aside from possibly the tuner, all of those use a mechanical switch for bypass, not electronic switching.

Gonna go there...the cheapo little Mosky TrueTone clone is pretty good at what it does for $15 a pop lol. If it works for you; why bother with anything else? Give it a try/send it back via Amazon if it doesn't work properly. I'd start there.
