What is the best sounding univibe under $150 in your opinions? I like the microvibe but it seems to cut off some high end. How bout the cool cat? Any votes for that one?

Check out the Wilson Haze Vibe, or if you look around or save $25 more you can get a used Fulltone MDV.

I picked up a wilson deluxe haze on the emporium for 100 bucks not too long ago. Sounds great. Can be used with an expression pedal too.

Used MDV-2 for $150 would be your best bet or the Haze is a little cheaper. I havent used either so no opinion.

VL Micro Vibe... I think there's one on the emporium for $85 right now. IMHO it nails the PF "Breathe" sound. For as much as I use vibe (very little), it's perfect.

i had the microvibe but sold it. it seemed to scoop out too much of the mids to my ears. when i would turn it off my tone got a lot fatter so it was hard to tweak my amp right. i either had to leave it on all the time or never.

No one likes the cool cat with the mods done to it? Mods that fix the vol boost and 3 sec delay issues.

I recently played a BBE Soul Vibe at Guitar Center, and it copped the sound exceptionally well for the $130 new price tag. Didn't seem to modify the sound of the Orange TT I plugged it into.

Anyone know how the TC Shaker compares? I'm not sure how it measures up to the univibe but I've heard a lot of good stuff about it.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think most people would prefer their vibe to be analog. YMMV, of course.

I have one and I love it, does "breathe" really well, make sure you play with the internal trim pots.

I bought a Luna Vibe (229.00) and am very happy with it, might want to step up just a little if possible, or look for a used one.

I have the cool cat vibe with the mods. I think it sounds killer, especially for the price.

I have the Voodoo micro vibe & like it a lot.... Very lumpy. Also bought a used Fulltone mini déjà vibe for very close to your budget.

Tons of other options, but those are two extremely solid options for cheap/no frills & pricier/bells&whistles.

Is it ok for me to mention that I have one for sale for insanely few dollars in the Emporium?

I really like it a lot-a LOT-I just happen to like my MJM 60's Vibe and my Micro Vibe, too.

IMO, the Micro Vibe would be a great one to consider-used, I see them going for very low prices as well, and it sounds great! Check one out!
