    Hi Guys

I am looking for some kind of pedal to give me some of that marshall crunch. I use a tweed 6l6 amp, telecasters and a 335.

At the moment I have my TIM, KOT4 and zendrive, but I miss having that rock rhytm sound. Any suggestions? :D

    Thanks guys.

    Andreas

Mi Audio crunchbox...or a Jetter purple or black. When I run either of these thru my 62 bassman...its VERY Marshall like. I also have a Marshall plexi, not a clone, so I can tell you they get you right there!

Barber Direct Drive is amazing: it's instant AC/DC crunch.

I just got the new Barber Custom Super Sport, plenty of Marshall crunch with a nice tight low end and very versatile and responds well to your guitars volume knob just like a good old tube amp!

I have an mi audio crunch, barber direct drive, ltd, small fry...and MANY MANY other od and dist pedals...and my favorite marshall like tone is my marshall guvnor...I play a les paul, sg, semi-hollow, and a strat through a fender deluxe reverb and a peavy classic 30...and the guvnor sounds more like a marshall to me than my crunch box...and the marshall jackhammer as well, just more gain

for the record neither the guvnor nor the jackhammer sound that good with my strat, and they need a little volume...if I can get my fender or classic to 3-3 1/2 they are awesome...but turned down real low they are not

the crunch box vs the guvnor isnt really a fair comparison, the jackhammer vs the crunch box is more of an even playing field :)

    Fetto by far, IMO.
    BJF DRD is nice too.
I'd love to try a Jetter purple sometime.

pls try a Toneczar Openhaus if u can get ur hands on one. Amazing versatility, not exactly Marshall to the max, but it gives a grease and rock crunch like no other pedal I've tried. I've owned the DRD, BOR, Barber DD, Barber DDSS, Crunchbox, and many more.

Lovekraft Mojodrive with the toggle switch up. The other two switch position's are boost and TS. Pretty versatile pedal (IMO).

Which Marshall crunch? JTM-45, Plexi, Ali, JCM800, JCM900, Valvestate?

I get the low gain AC/DC style tones out of my Tim, for more gain I go the Brownie, more again the Crunch Box at 18VDC.

of course. I really dig the jtm-45 and plexi tones. I have the low gain covered with my tim and kot, but I need something with a little more balls:D
