1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

If you're looking for a Barber pedal to do Marshall stuff, the Direct Drive would be a good candidate.

I've been diggin the Plextortion lately. with a little knob tweaking can go from 60's to 80's Marshall tones.

Brian Wampler (Indyguitarist/Wampler Effects) makes great Marshall type OD's and Distortions.

I love my plexidrive, which hit this tone spot on with the gain only at 10 o'clock. check it out

Barber Direct Drive is much more "Marshally" than the Small Fry, and one of the best, tightest & most defined Marshall pedals on the planet.

Original Sansamp or GT3-both do it great but the original is quieter and has way more flexibility...

Small Fry is a great pedal, but as noted above, for Marshall tones, you probably want the Direct Drive instead.
