Hey all,
What kind of P-90's are you guys using/have used and what do you recommend?

I'm looking for that big, open, articulate crunch, lots of detail when you back off the volume, and seriuos harmonic content.

I had some Duncan Antiquitys that I thought were pretty good, but that was a while back.

Thanks for the suggestions and comments.

Thanks Pacomc and 69strat!
Lollars sound like the direction I may go, I have a set of his Imperial Humbuckers, they are awesome!
Thanks for the input.

I love the Harmonic Design VP-90's.

Hey Pacomc79 - tell me a little more about the Harmonic Design pups. I have a Les Paul Special that came with Seymore Duncan p-90 Stacks, which I promptly switched out for the original Gibson pick-ups. I love the scream!

How well do the HD capture that raw screaming sound of an original p-90 - and what improvements do they make on that sound?

The Gitpicker (still old, bald, and fat)

Basically VP-90 stands for "vintage plus" They are balanced and harmonic.
