    Bare Knuckle ? Fralin ? Lollar ?

I want something a little hotter than Gibson P90s but not too hot... I heard Bare Knuckles are amazing pickups... I need suggestions !

I have a set of Dave's P90's and I really like them. He will wind them to your preference and tweak them if it doesn't quite get the tone you want.

    Check his guarantee:

"You have two weeks to install and get to know your pickups. There is always a period of adjustment while your ears get used to the new sound and while you adjust your amp’s tone controls to the difference in input. If you decide within that time to try something different, they can be returned for exchange, rewind, or refund. I prefer to have a second chance before refunding your purchase price. Sometimes it takes two tries to nail your tone.
I guarantee for life against the failure of my pickups under normal circumstances, no matter who owns the pickup. If you have one of my pickups and it fails on its own I will fix it.
If you are returning any pickup for refund, the pickup must be in new condition with orignal leads even if cut short. Unsoldered or changed leads void my warranty."

I have owned a few different types, and my favourite is actually the Gibson dogeared one in my Melody Maker.

Fralin P-92's. The best of both worlds IMHO...P-90 tone without the noise. I was skeptical until I plugged in. Lindy really hit a home run with these, and he'll wind to your specs.

What's a P-92 ? I just checked the Fralin website and didn't see these listed. Is Fralin offering a new noiseless P90 ?

I'm also in the same search- very curious to hear opinions about Lollars, Fralins, and Bare Knuckles!

I love my Gibson's, they sound EXACTLY like P-90's!!!

(Can't hear the hum - I'm playing too loud!)

Lollars. Slightly underwound. Can't go wrong. Best P90s on the market IMHO.

I have the Lollar P90s, his standard set. The power of a humbucker with the clarity of a single coil. These are phenominal pickups.
