Best P90 or P90 replacement for jazz box?

I got an Epiphone Zephyr Blues Deluxe, a copy of an ES5, and I'd like to swap out the neck pup for something better. I don't use the other pickups, so I really just need one. I'm not married to the P90 sound. A humbucker that fits would be ok too. It would be nice to get rid of the hum, but I'm more concerned with a rich full bodied and clear tone. FWIW I use heavy flatwounds, play with my thumb, and think Wes has the ultimate jazz tone. I realize the guitar is not an L5. It plays great and does have a nice sound though. But the stock pickups are a weak link. Any suggestions?

you should check out the CC pickups that tom painter is using. Not sure if they make a dog eared version though.

I'don't know that these would fit my guitar. I don't want to do any cutting in case I decide to sell it down the road. Excellent playing on the Tom Painter demo video you did by the way.

VintageVibe http://www.vintagevibeguitars.com/ makes a Dogear-P90-sized version of their CC-Rider (which is kind of a cross between a P90 and a CharlieChristian-pickup) - a very rich, big, full, yet clear sounding pickup.
