Best pedal for splatty/resonant filter tones?

Looking for something that does nice resonant filter tones. More on the splattery side, I suppose.

I have a penny pedals fingerprint, and that's more in the ring mod fuzz territory.

Should I look at some of the electro-harmonix stuff? Any suggestions?

Line 6 m5 has a tone of great filters and it's dirt cheap.
