1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

    Hey,

i want to give my PRS a professional setup to see if it can get any better than i've managed on my own (i.e. buzzing, feel, intonation). Does anyone have any recommendations and prices for places or people preferably in Manhattan?

    Thanks much,
    Diego

The guys at both Rudy's on 48th and 30th st guitars have done good jobs on my basses. Lately I have been going to 30th st, as we rehearse at Ultrasound across the street.

    Hi Diego,
    Try Evan at http://www.newyorkguitarrepair.com

He's got a nice little shop in his apartment, he's done a great job on 3 guitars of mine, his prices are fair, and turnaround time is very quick. Very knowledgable, nice guy, too.

Check out his website; his contact info is all there.

    Good luck!

Jeremy at Rudy's is the best IMO. Really cares and goes the extra mile.

    Yep, he's absolutely amazing.

Great prices, 30 day warranty, and he does great work.

I'd go back there any time.
