    Bryston 7B's?
I've read the Bryston Pre's are super quiet, but as an Anthem fan, I know the new STR Pre has many wonderful capabilities.
Someone must have an opinion on this burning issue?

I have used Bryston preamps and amps for many many years. Never disappointed. Great audio sound quality, built like a tank, best warranty. They have a new cubed preamp, it must be superb.

Anthem is used by many Home Theater folks on AVS forums including some industry professionals.

Depending on your application, Anthem Room Correction (ARC) is the preferred method for EQ'ing low end anomalies in the room and the STR has the DAC which is an option on the Bryston (but now only $750). Anthem also has sub outs and control if you need that.

    Tough choice.

    Rex,
