Best price for JJ tubes?

    1 x EF86, 3 x ECC83/12AX7, 4 x EL84, 1 x GZ34 (rectifier)

    Those are the tubes I need. I also want the best JJs whatever they may be (tell me why).

    I like JJs quite a bit and never had a bad one in quite a few tubes.

    I've had good dealings several times with Eurotubes. I've also heard good things about Doug's tubes. Shop around / check the guarantees and return policy in case you would get a bad tube while you're at it.

    I don't know about the best tubes, or even the best price, but all of the prices are close with sellers that burn tubes in properly and match them correctly. I just bought two matched pairs of JJ El84 from Doug's Tubes and they sound stellar. Doug also matched a pair of SED EL34 for me that are exactly the same when the bias is set at its lowest possible setting--that's the closest matching I've seen yet on EL34 tubes, it's perfect in fact.
