Best selling is never cool.
I look around today, and still see Accords and Camrys from the early 90s. Many are busted up, and look like trash, but they are still on the road. It's been 10-15 years at least since I laid eyes on a running Escort or Tempo.
I've had a long and not-so-storied relationship with American trucks and muscle cars. But for sedans, I wouldn't touch domestic anything from the mid-70s untill the last 5 years (save a couple things like a Crown Vic, Marquis, etc.) I was happy with all the Hondas and Toyotas I've owned, save one. I had an Acura Legend that I wanted to torch.
I guess I'm old - my year predates the list.
