Very nice guitar and i too find it suitable for jazz or blues. Its a pleasure to play sitting down, fits right into your body (for me anyway) jack is positioned very well for that too. Love the coil tap, low pass filter is less noticeable but since i added Evo\Evo2 pickups, just for a change, and i find my self baking off on the volume a little so i can use amp volume more and gain too but the coil tap for clean tones is very nice to have.My Ibanez JS1000 is a really versatile guitar that will take you many other places beyond JS land.

For me, I've only own one. So it's the best by default.
