Best: Stairway To Heaven (studio IV only)
Worst: Hot Dog
Best ... No Quarter from SRTS
Worst ...D'yerMaker....should be the crunge but saved by it's odd meters
Neither of those two ever bothered me. Love The Crunge for the fabulous funk groove. Apparently, they did too.
Worst: Hats Off To Roy Harper
Best: Damn near everything else. But if I have to pick, Achilles’ Last Stand is a personal fave. (Or all of Physical Graffiti.)
Worst: Hots On for Nowhere
Worst is D'yerMaker. It's the Obladi Oblada* of Led Zeppelin.
Best is too many : Good Times, Bad Times; Immigrant Song; Trampled Under Foot; Nobody's Fault But Mine; etc.
*I originally said Lady Madonna, but I meant Obladi Oblada.
Worst - Achilles’ Last Stand
Best - Good Times Bad Times.
Best: Levee - encapsulates everything about the band in one song: blues based, hardest rock, dark, yet somewhat mystical and uplifting
Worst: D'yer Ma'ker - not only is it among the weakest songs they've done (includes Candy Store Rock, Hot Dog, Boogie With Stu, Carouselambra) but for some reason has been a classic rock standard for decades.
Best: 'Ten Years Gone'
Worst: 'Fool In The Rain'
best: Since I've Been Loving You
worst: The Crunge
Best: Black Dog or Kashmir (too close to call this morn)
Worst: Candy Store Rock
Best: Kashmir (Jaz Coleman arrangement, wow)
Worst: Black Dog/ Misty Mountain hop that played every lunchtime...many repeats at my High School, ugh!
Best; “When the Levee Breaks”
Worst; “Fool in the Rain”
Best: Achilles Last Stand
Worst: Hey Hey What Can I Do or wtf it’s called
LOL! I like Hot Dog!
best: Since I’ve Been Loving You
worst: Hot Dog
are you kidding? that song is AWESOME
As a groove it 's great playing but as a song kinda of goes nowhere. Sorry but I love hot dog, that riff is so sloppy but so cool
Ha, I put Hot Dog above it.
lol. Hey Hey is genius, it was recorded in 1970 when the band were at the absolute peak of their powers. Plant sings his arse off!
are you sure you’re talking about this song?
