I'm not saying they are bad. I am saying I have never heard anything that made me want to pursue them further. It's not really my problem.

Nor many who have changed their sound as dramatically- many times over.

They are my favourite band and have been for 20 years. But if all I heard was a couple songs of Pablo Honey I’d write them off

the second one is pretty lousy. I really don’t know why they did that, especially with tracks like “Cuttooth” or “Kinetic” that could have made the album.

    I actually love both versions.

The live version from “I Might Be Wrong” is my favourite though. When Jonny’s guitar kicks in... I will fully admit my view is slanted by seeing them play it live though

    I like Morning Bell!

    Best: The Tourist
Worst: Tough to choose, because I like so much of their stuff. I guess something off Pablo Honey.

    Ok, Anyone Can Play Giitar!!

As for Morning Bell, the funny story is that my wife is a Radiohead super fan and our nephew was always making these whining sounds, we realized that he had heard so much Radiohead and that my wife loved it, so he was imitating Morning Bell for her.

I love the late era stuff as much or more than the classics.
I'd have a tough time picking anything from ok computer over Separator from king of limbs or Present Tense or The Numbers from their latest.
Last band i was in covered You from Pablo honey, that song is a lot of fun to play.

Pretty much all of Pablo Honey is garbage. At least Creep made them some money so they could continue and be one of the best bands o the modern era.

Stop Whispering if I had to pick off of Pablo Honey

Personal Favorite is House of Cards. In Rainbows is my favorite album.

If you had to make me debate someone I would probably choose Paranoid Android or Weird Fishes...

nonsense!! there’s some gold on that album:

You - ripper of a tune!! magnificent opener

Thinking About You - just beautiful

Stop Whispering - amazing vocal performance from Thom

Blow Out - show stopper. they used to close all their shows with this and it’s a Sonic Youth noise fest at the end. magnificent tune

Lurgee - an underrated classic. a precursor for The Bends; a clever tune that’s deceptively simple... yet nuanced and layered.

Creep - it’s an iconic 90’s song and a brilliant single.

calling those 6 songs “garbage” is a joke in itself. they’re brilliant tunes that make up half an album.

    Uh huh...
Worst: Creep as it stereotyped the band for years and years
Best: My Iron Lung, as a single it was brave to change the song halfway.

Pablo Honey gets a bad rap. Easy to hate on when it’s followed by The Bends and OkComp, but it’s got some great moments and Creep is 2nd to only Teen Spirit as the 90s anthem.

In Rainbows has aged worse than anything else in their catalog. Back around album release and a couple years after I would’ve argued it was their best besides maybe OK. It borders that line between cohesive and monotonous and anymore I think it leans more towards the monotonous side.

    BEST: Paranoid Android...it’s their masterpiece
WORST: something bleepity bloopity from King of Limbs..maybe Feral, but I bet they have worse among their eps and bsides.

Imagine if I were to dismiss Frank Zappa's entire career entirely based on "Valley Girl".

Best - Anything off The Bends or OK Computer

The thing with Radiohead ( post OK Computer ) is that they are very much a "mood" band - that is, when you're in the mood to listen to them, there isn't a bad track on any of their albums but if you're not quite in the right "mood" there are a lot of tracks can be very annoying and self indulgent sounding.
