Best Speaker for 2x12 cab w/Germino Lead 55

Ok, I've got a Bogner OS 2x12 cab that I use with my Germino Lead 55 head. Which two speakers do you guys recommend to go with this head? My musical range for this particular setup would be blues rock to alt. rock. Definitely want a vintage vibe, since the amp is so old school. I'm not playing any metal with this for sure. I'm looking for sweet cleans to a fat crunch. Basically from Alllman Bros. to early VH. What should I go with; greenbacks, scumbacks, yada yada....?

regular greenbacks will do well, esp in closed back cab
ASW KTS-60 is a very good choice too
then you have scumback M75 lots of folks like.( no real experience with them myself)

ASW KTS70 will lean more toward Allman Bros.

got a pair of scumback M75s with mine, 65 versions - sound fine to me...

I run mine with two 100 Scumback M75's and it sounds better than ever. Open back Germino cab. MY Classic 45 sounds good with them too.

I use a pair of Greenback RI Celestions in my old Germino oversized 212 cab (closed back) with my Lead 55 and like them a lot. Over the years I've tried Heritage 20 Celestions and G12H30s but I still prefer the RI Greenbacks. I'd love to try a pair of Scumback 65 watts M75s at some point because I hear such good things about them. At the same time I'm pretty satisfied with the RI Greens.

I'd also recommend trying original G12-65s dated from 1979-1983 with that amp, if you're going to be playing loud into a 2x12 and are worried about nuking greenbacks or other low wattage speakers you may prefer the tone of.
