Any suggestions on a replacement speaker for my '53-'55 5C3 Tweed Deluxe? It originally had a Jensen P12R, but that was long gone when I got it.

I know my Celestions (and have one of about every one), but I'm at a loss for a new speaker for this amp to retain the original tone. Webers? Reissue Jensens? Eminence? Tone Tubby?

    Thanks.

    Jensen P12N gets my vote.
I have gone through a bunch of speakers with several tweed Deluxes I've owned throughout the years and the Jensen is my fav.
All my deluxe and deluxe clone amps have been a 5E3 though.

    Vintage or Reissue?

I was going to ask which model Webers (he has WAY too many options IMHO). I have a 12A150 in my '65 Deluxe Reverb, but I'm not all that sold on it.

Thanks for the suggestions. Keep'em coming...

I've decided to try a Weber 12F125 in my Mission 5E3. I have no issues with the tone of the stock C12Q but I need it to be louder so I'm hoping a more sensitive speaker will get the little bit extra volume I want.
