I have never listened to one of his tunes, but I hear hes got a good univibe tone?

Can anyone tell which songs would emphasize this effect?

    Thanks!

The whole bridge of sighs record is the benchmark for Univibe tones.

Day of the Eagle, Bridge of Sighs, Fool and Me, Little Bit of Sympathy. A strat, vibe and Marshall has never sounded better.

Just go right to the source and listen to Hendrix on "Band of Gypsys". Doesn't get any better!

Trower on Bridge of Sighs makes Hendrix look like someone who used the vibe sparingly. :)

Trower loves the ol' vibe. Swirl, swirl, swirl, swirl, swirl.......:bong

I know that Robin used a combo of a Marshall and a Fender amp. I wonder if he had the vibe only going into one of them. I've never been able to completely cop his vibe tone going into just a single amp. Always seems a bit too much even with the intensity turned way down.

    Anyone??

I"ve been on the wagon for many years but man does thinking about Robin Trower and the univibe tones remind me of being young and stoned.

Most everything on the latest, "Playful Heart" CD, is pretty "vibey". Pretty good RT.
