I just realized how much I like my cmatmods Signa Drive dirt pedal after almost selling it.

I've owned many TS pedals (808's, 9's, 10's, and clones) but Signa Drive sounds great to me. :p

What do you think is the best sounding TS pedal?

SBN Lil Eagle. This pedal just jumps out and hits you in the face and the tone control has a more usable range to my ears. Plus, it has more gain if you need it and it has more bass than an 808. I also like the Route 808 by Visual Sound.

This might be the most underrated TS going. But I think it's one of the best, if not THE best.

For me it's the Machine Head Pedals 72 Degree Overdrive.

I like the Retro Sonic eight o eight. I've tried quite a few and this is the best so far.

I think the Signa Drive is one of the best overdrives out and at a reasonable price too. I also think the Luther Drive is a great pedal.

Ahh the obligatory and weekly best Tubescreamer thread; I have both the Analog silver mod TS-9 and a Visual Sounds Route 66, I coincidentally love them both.

I have the Ibanez TS808HW and I think it's definitely the best if you don't wanna stray from the original. But personally, I want more low end out of the pedal, but still want the TS tone. Any suggestions?

Reverend Drivetrain II is an excellent choice, as it's not just a one trick pony. It will totally do the TS thing, as well as cop other cool sounds...super versatile.

FYI / FWIW the Rev DT II was designed by Joe Naylor (Reverend) and Bob Weil (Visual Sound).

Full disclosure: I'm a Reverend freak. :messedup

I think there was one in the emporium for a great price. No relation to the seller.

Ditto on all of the above. There are actually TWO of them in the emporium right now, PLUS a Drivetrain 1! Really weird because they don't pop up very often.
