Best value Paf set. Besides GFS

Hi I picked up a mik Hamer echotone. It's has been set up very well new pots and caps /electronics as well as hardware with dressed frets. Everything is great except the pickups. On a budget and want a good set of paf style pickups to put in them. I have heard pretty good reviews on the gfs ones but anyone else have anyone they would recommend? Thanks

I use a set of Tonerider A4 PAFs in an Epi Vintage G-400 and they sound superb.

How good are they?......well I am yanking out the Gibson 57 plus in my new SG to put one in.

That's the beauty of winding your own: you can tweak your recipe until you get just the perfect pickup for what you want to do. Magnet wire is cheap so if one isn't quite right you can just rip it up and start again. You wouldn't do that with a Lollar Imperial...

What's your budget? I'd look around used. I got a pair of Dimarzio Air Classics for $80 on CL not too long ago.
