just curious to know what’s out there. Am using latest software shouldn’t be a concern. Thanks
Have you tried Oregon Trail?
Ah the memories.
To the OP, get Steam.
Sorry, I couldn't resist.
I thought most folks that want to play games on Apple just side-boot Windows to do it?
World Of Warcraft
There are more, but I consider these the top notch titles.
Are you talking Mac Mini/MacBook Pro/iMac?
You can buy games for Mac via the Apple Mac App Store or via Steam.
I prefer Steam.
As is well known Macs are not great gaming machines.
Primarily because most devs/publishers don't see the upside in spending money porting their PC games to MacOS.
Not enough of an audience.
IMHO the best gaming experience on an Apple device can be found on the 2018 12" iPad Pro.
Thanks guys I'll have to check these out.
As if you are going to have any money left after paying the apple tax haha
I'm playing the remastered Myst, and also have KOTOR on my MaxBook Pro. Two ancient games. Ancient like me.
I'll second World of Warcraft.
Diablo II LOD. I'm semi-embarrassed to say that I've been continuing to play off and on since 2002. Still so much to learn!
Loved playing Wizardry on my Apple IIC.
Ultima 3 was great on the IIe
Jeez, it's 2019. Give it a rest.
Check out Homeworld, the remastered edition is available on the Mac App Store. It's an older game but still pretty incredible, on of the best strategy games I've every played.
Why would it? It is true.
... as I type this from my macbook pro (work supplied. Apple would never get my money for what they sell).
