It sounded so great that Warren sold it.

That serial number chart is an interesting read. Charlie Daughtry is on there. Ed Van Halen reserved serial number 5150. Mick Mars, Jimmy Page.

    Exactly.
And why would anyone want to pay more than they have to for an SLO just because Warren owned it? :NUTS

That's pretty cool. Bill added a Depth Control too my HR 50+ about a month ago. Both Bill and Mike are great guys, real down to earth and very willing to talk to you about most everything in those amps.

Ha, you know it Mikey! Though if I had limitless cash like Warren, I would be keeping ALL of it if it sounded great.

For cleans, I would agree, but when it comes to OD tones, the CAA OD100 does not even come close to the harmonic richness of an SLO IMO. I owned them both, and the SLO is still here! If I could get the same crunch and lead tones out of the OD100, it would be game over.

I have to agree. The SLO overdrive is juicier. The OD100 with SE mod moves closer to an SLO type vibe.

I thought the Diaz was just a clean machine. Does it rock, too?
