BF Bassman speaker opinions

I have a SilverFace Bassman that I Blackafaced and am putting in a JD Newell 2 10 combo cab.

What speakers!!!!???

Webers?
Golds?
Greenbacks?
Gold/ Greenback combo?

Will be used with a tele and OD pedals.

I have a pair in a 2X10 from lamar cabs. They are 75 watt speakers which leaves me room to run a boost without getting cone distortion. So far so good.

Oh sorry, about that, they are available in 10's too and that's what I was using with my '67 Bassman head until I cut a new baffle. Now I have a Blue 10" and a Silver 12".

Have you considered Jensens? The Mod series seems to get a few "thumbs up" from users on other forums.

Are you into AlNiCo or ceramic?

I used Golds and loved it. I tend to go with ceramic now-a-days, but not as many 10in options as 12in.

I went with the Warehouse g10C in 70 watt. Could not be happier.

Not sure if the make a 10 inch cannabis rex...got a 67 with a 2 x12' and it great.
