This is from a doc. called "The Story of the Jeep" that I scored last year.
I was fortunate that they wanted all roots & blues music-in other words it was a lot more fun than usual!
It wasmy first gig with my Bogner Metroplis - the tone's a little edgy for me now...hmmm....there's some hi-end glass on that amp fer sure-but then again
I'm used to more Fender Silver/Black & Tweeds.

    John,

Really cool. I liked the arrangement and production and of course your playing. Tell me about your slide set up (guitar string size etc.) Are those real drums? If not what do you use?

    Thanks

    Joe-I was using a mud-slide -its too heavy for 010's-so I change to 011's-
which on my old strat isn't too comfy for conventional string bending.
    Think I'm in open E[?]

--also for the more saturated stuff the Love Pedal was on-
and the mics went thru a RNC compressor[Really Nice Compressor]-
well...its O.K.-I sometimes use the Keely comp in the guitar line too-but
I find the guitar gets 'small' sounding.

The Drums are from ProSession "These Drums Are Loud"-they are loops-
rexes and for acid too-its PITA to get it all to fit!I think you can get them form the M-Audio site-but if yer using Groove Agent yer probably better off!

    better yet "lets go jeeping!"

I'm glad there's some enjoyment to be had here-becuz on the final mix
the track is pretty much covered by dialogue & engine grunts...

Very nice! I know how it feels to have your compositon covered by dialogue. It kinda makes you wonder why on earth they are so picky about the music in the first place! ;-)
