It's good, we haven't had noobs randomly posting "how do I make a thread?" in unrelated threads for a while now.

It should be a clown nose. Most threads deteriorate into one liners by the 3rd or 4th post. Mine usually show up a little later in the abasement of said thread because it takes me an hour and a half to watch 60 minutes.

I had the honor of performing at one of the big embassies in DC this week for a Christmas tree lighting and they had... yep... a big red button. It was neat.

Split decision. It's too big, but just red enough.

What if told you someone somewhere gets a good zappin' every time someone posts a new thread.

It doesn't bother me at all, in fact I had to look for it to see what we were talking about.

Back when they rolled out the latest software there were red buttons that said "NEW" by each thread title, and some other red things too. Those were distracting.

Some really helpful member posted this thread, and as you can see the fearless leaders fixed it. http://www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?threads/whats-new.1735312/
