Is it possible to throw a bigsby on a strat which is routed for a standard trem?

I don't care for your opinions about Bigsby's, nor their inferiority to a standard strat tremolo, just the technical answer, and possible ramifications of such a modification. I'm assuming I'd need a rad 'Custom Made' plaque a la 335?

    a b5 bigsby would work.
but you'd need a new bridge, which would mean filling the bridge/trem cavity.

In theory, you could probably put together something similar to one of these Glendale prototypes, tighten the springs and bridge screws, notch the back of the bridge, and have the strings slide over the barrels with little difficulty for a B5 package.

I think it would be hard to get an angle over the saddle top .
You would need to make a maple tapered neck shim so you could get a few degrees of neck angle .

Tis not worth the trouble for a guitar I'm pretty happy with already :(

I think I'm just going to end up going with a Chimemaster.

I have a brand new never been mounted chimemaster that I'd like to sell. Its got steel saddles and a brass block. My project required a narrower string spacing like the callaham vintage Narrow. I'll sell it to you for $150 if you are interested. I'll split paypal and shipping if you are in the US. PM Me if you are interested. Thanks!
