On Analogman's website, it says that black Astrotones will be in a "shinier" black casing in 2012. Does anyone have a picture of an Astrotone in this new black finish?

The AstroTone could be in baby poop green and still be one of the best pedals out there!!!

Haha, agreed. It's a never-sell for me. I have the flat black finish and I'm curious to see how the new ones compare.

    Anyone?

i have an old school white one. they have more mojo! :) just kidding. i hope that with the popularity of the black ?gold ones that the white ones will be in higher demand some day. since analogman resale value doesn't decrease much....

Absolutely. It is easily my favorite AM fuzz offerring. I use the AT in tandem with a TIM quite a bit, it is stellar.

Sorry no pic but imagine if you will - shiny, gloss black power-coat paint - it looks like a shiny black car, only a much smaller metal rectangle... and it does rock w/a Timmy.

You can still get white ones, right?
