black cat trem weird issue

    Amp off, pedal off but plugged into mains via adapter and its squeeking/clicking in time to where the trem is set at. Would only stop when I unplugged the adapter. Just triedia diffferent adapter and its fine. As far as I know theyre both the same adapter ...

    Just a regular 9V DC plug, cant see a brand name on there.

    Can you post a pic of the labels of both adapters?

    Since it was fine with one adapter, there's obviously not an issue with the pedal, as such (thread title is a little misleading). So it seems likely that there is either something wrong with the other adapter, or it's not one that is suitable for use with audio products.
