That's a myth. It's never been the best sale of the year in any industry.

For a while you'd get crazy deals on things like a $29 DVD player, but those were typically lower-quality products produced just for Black Friday, rather than amazing deals on things people actually wanted.

15% is pretty much standard, with a few "doorbusters" sprinkled here and there.

The whole point of a doorbuster was to get you in the door so you'd spend a bunch of money on other things. But people likely aren't buying 5 pedals at a time to make that worthwhile.

As of March 20, 2020, my goal was simple: do not go out of business this year. I think that is reasonable, but also somewhat challenging. To compound the scene: I don't beleive things will magically change January 1, 2021.
