I am wanting to get a high quliaty Tele bridge for the USACG build I am doing which will be my first Tele. Since I am wanting to use black hardware I thought I would have have it plated black since glendale doesn't do black headware.
So the question is, does anyone actually know what black hardware is plated in?? I suspect the finish isn't black chrome but I don't know what it is. I asked allparts and they had no clue so I thought someone here might.
    Tanks as always.

I don't think any of it is 'plated'.
    More likely powder coated.

I don't know what the coating is but Wilkinson makes a great black one with saddles that tilt/compensate.

    Dark chocolate, most likely ;)

    Probably powder coated.

Powder coating is what you want. Plating shops usually charge per batch. So, 1 part can cost as much to plate as 100, it gets expensive.
