I have the opportunity to buy a Pedalworx McFuzz. I know how popular the silver boxed older ones were and always wanted to try one. This one is new in box however and finished in black. Is there any difference beween the older silver ones and the newer ones?

    Thx!

Hard to say really. I've owned numerous over the years and talking to Bob about them on numerous occasions. He would normally mark the inside of the back plate if there were anything custom. I don't recall the black being anything special other than the color.

    Hi,

The difference was color only unless marked as such on back plate ( as dryer maker was so nicr to point out)

There were also McFuzz Hot pedals, which as the name implies were higher gain.

    Regards,
    George
