+1, that’s a fantastic album. Saw them for the 3rd time couple of weeks ago here in the UK, they’re a consistently great live act.My favourite is The Whippoorwill. Great songs and great band.![]()
I agree. Their other CDs have not held up as well as that one for me.My favourite is The Whippoorwill. Great songs and great band.![]()
They say they're too country for rock and too rock for country, so of coarse they don't get played on either radio format. I hear them mostly on the Outlaw Country channel on XMSirius in my car, once in a while they are played on the JamOn channel also.Pardon my ignorance, but what do you call this genre?
I'm really diggin it...
Fantastic album.I have their double cd live album...? Leave a Scar.
Pretty infectious songs.
Good drinking music.
I agree. They are easy to listen to, and imho they appeal to a very wide audience.Fantastic album.
They're just a great band, so killer. Been a fan since whippoorwill came out.
With The Black Crowes being one of my favorite bands, Blackberry Smoke always sounded like a poor imitation to me. It lacks the voice, the sound, and mostly the groove...I never paid attention to them until I heard the new EP with them doing "You Got Lucky" with Amanda Shires. I guess I have some catching up to do.
What's else should I check out?
