Yes I bought the amp. First Crate iv'e ever owned, ughhhh. But, Hey, I actually like the sounds comming out of it.
Now, for my question. Is there any details on the stock Emi speaker used?

Yeah, I already have the model number on it. And NO, I do not think that someone at Crate and Emi. specially designed that speaker. It went more like this:

However, you could persuade me to think differently, and please try. This unit just sounds too good stock for a standard affair to be in there.

Well we have all read the advertisements about the "specially crafted, tone matched" speakers that the manufacturer painstakingly designs, in conjunction with the speaker manufacturer, for there new mass produced China built amps. We all know that all to often it is just an economy grade, no label, so so sounding speaker. The amp manufacturer puts a fancy esoteric label on the back of the magnet and thats it. Then we buy them and yank the stock speaker out for a well known brand name that has been reviewed and recommended time and time again. Then we are happy.

But this BlackHart sounds so good stock that I am wondering if it does have maybe a higher grade Eminence than the usual generic bland speaker used in a mass produced amp from Crate would normally have. Or does the Blackhart just have a really good amp in it? It is probably some of both maybe?
